Statement

I studied undergraduate medicine at Pembroke College, Cambridge and Clinical Medicine at Oxford. My early jobs were in the south of the country and I gradually worked my way back North with my training. I have 14 years experience in Plastic Surgery and trained in Yorkshire and Australia. I have over 70 peer reviewed publications and national/international presentations in the field of plastic surgery.

I have major interests in hand surgery, breast surgery, microsurgery, lower limb trauma and skin cancer. I have always enjoyed teaching and I have developed links with the newly established medical school in Hull and York (HYMS) to ensure that exposure to plastic surgery becomes part of the curriculum. I regularly run Student Selected Component (SSC) courses for medical students and regularly teach surgery to junior surgeons on national courses run by the Royal College of Surgeons.

I offer a full range of aesthetic surgery, including breast augmentation/reduction, abdominoplasty, liposuction, facial surgery including face lift, eyelid surgery, brow lift, rhinoplasty and ear correction.
